Umaga would debut in early June as a heel on Raw attacking Triple H. After his feud ended with Triple H(with Triple H losing) Umaga would be released from the company. In March 2012 it was announced Umaga would be resigned to WWE. In April 2012, he returned on-screen congratulating John Cena for beating The Rock. It was announced Umaga would be signed to ECW Revival
